A2 Hosting has averaged 392ms upload time in a period of 12 months. In our experience this is an instant page loading. Their technical set-up works in a way, that they have implemented caching, which stores data in a visitor’s browser, therefore A2 Hosting won’t have to request information from your website every time someone tries to access it.
Their weakest side is uptime which has been during the last few months to an average of 99.91% making statistically 8 hours of downtime over a period of 12 months.

iPage is one of the cheapest hosting providers on the market. However we have used their services in some of our projects, and we could say, that they are pretty reliable.
Their uptime is decent and during the 12 month period they’ve managed to deliver 99.98% uptime.
iPage average loading time is 831ms., which is not bad, but it’s well below the top competitors results.
Yes, iPage is cheap and their prices could be as low as $1.99 a month.
However this rate is for 12-36 months, and you would be technically locked into a super long-term deal to get that price.
We think that there are better options for hosting Wordpress. Although the customer support and prices are nice. Click here to see iPage pricing.

Arvixe performed the lowest 99.75% uptime.
The industry average for speed is around 790ms.
Even that is not very fast, to be honest – some of the fastest hosting providers load within ~300ms.
Even worse was the loading speed which was more tnan 1000 ms. That is truly slow.
Just one second delay in page load time could cost Amazon 1.6 billion. Consider this when making your decision.
Unfortunately their customer support was slow too. We tried to ask a few basic questions and it took over an hour for a response.
From pricing perspective they also one of the most expensive ones. Click here to see Arvixe pricing.
